SKU Code: SUB/82/ST/NATO
This diver's watch is a remake of a 1980s model we previously produced. It features a robust stainless steel case and a high-performance automatic 24-jewel self-winding movement. We've upgraded the watch with a shatter and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a ceramic bezel. The dial and caseback are unbranded (referred to in the military as "sterile"), giving the watch a clean and uncluttered appearance.
These models represent excellent value and are competitively priced for such a high-performance automatic watch.
The watch measures 45mm including the crown and 40mm excluding the crown. It uses Luminova for outstanding nighttime visibility and comes with a standard 20mm NATO strap, commonly used on various military diver models. This allows for a wide range of color options if you prefer to change the strap occasionally.

Why Choose Sapphire Crystal?
Many customers ask about the benefits of sapphire crystal over a standard mineral crystal. Synthetic sapphire is the best material for watch crystals due to its exceptional strength and resistance to shattering and scratching. These characteristics make it ideal for military and security personnel, police officers, and individuals with active outdoor lifestyles, who make up over 70% of our customers.
When accidents result in cracked crystals, over 90% involve watches with mineral glass crystals. Even with hardened mineral crystals, they do not compare to sapphire for durability under adverse conditions. Sapphire crystals are strong because they undergo a heat-treatment process that removes internal stresses, which can cause weakness. After manufacturing, the sapphire glass is made into watch crystals, and two layers of anti-reflective coating are applied. Interestingly, sapphire crystal is now used on the latest iPhones. Due to its higher cost, sapphire crystal is typically found only in higher-end watches.
